Consultations
For your convenience, all our consultations are by appointment which are offered at flexible times including a late evening on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings.
We offer a free registration check to all new clients and new pets. On your first visit we will carry out a full health examination on your pet(s) and provide preventative health advice.
We also have daily nurse appointments for routine procedures which don’t need to be seen by a vet.
If you pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment at a convenient time for you.

Our first opinion 24 hour emergency cover means that you will always be able to contact one of our vets. They will be able to advise you on the best course of action for your pet.
If you have an out of hours emergency, telephone the practice number on 01224 716848 and a recorded message will give you the mobile number of the duty vet.
We are happy to provide over the phone advice and if your pet needs to be seen we will arrange to meet you at the practice. An out of hours call out fee is £63.43 plus a consultation fee of £25.31. Any further treatment will be additional to this price.
Nurse Appointments
As well as assisting the vets and looking after day care patients, our veterinary nurses are trained to provide direct support for our clients and their pets.
Nurse appointments are available for procedures that don’t need to be seen by a vet such as post op checks, stitches out, dressing changes, emptying anal glands, nail clipping, microchipping, weight/dietary advice, flea checks and our very popular monthly puppy checks.
Nurse appointments are usually free or cheaper that a vet appointment.
Jenny and Karen are also pleased to give pet care advice over the phone.
Nurse appointments are available throughout the day and on Saturday mornings and can be made by phoning the surgery.
