About Us

Aurora Vet Clinic opened in February 2006 and is a purpose built facility, designed to provide comprehensive companion animal medical and surgical care.

We have four experienced veterinary surgeons and two qualified and registered veterinary nurses who are dedicated to providing the highest level of service for our clients and their pets. All our treatments are tailored to individual needs with clients involved in the decision making. Kindness, care and empathy are at the centre of every case.

We also provide a range of preventative health medicines including flea and worm treatments, grooming, behavioural advice, monthly puppy checks,  acupuncture, puppy socialisation, dental, weight and senior clinics.

Care of Hospital Patients

We have comfortable and well equipped in-patient facilities should your pet need to be hospitalised. No-one actually lives on site and the level of supervision will depend on the individual needs of the patient. If a patient is critically ill a vet may stay overnight with the patient but more often the vets and nurses will make regular visits depending on the patient’s needs. If you are uncomfortable about your pet being left alone then please discuss it with us and we can make alternative arrangements.

Client and Patient care

At Aurora we try to place equal emphasis on looking after animals and people and we want to provide the highest level of service for both our clients and their pets. If, however, you feel we have failed on either count then we would very much appreciate it if you would let us know so we can address any problems and try to improve. Issues can be discussed in person, by phone or via a formal complaint which can be submitted in writing to Andrew Stalker. All complaints will be dealt with seriously and treated confidentially. If your complaint is of a serious nature and you feel it is beyond discussing with the practice directly then it should be made to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons who oversee all veterinary practices in the UK.
